SIONY (ATSANI) has weakened into a Tropical Storm (TS) as it is about to traverse the northernmost part of the Batanes Group within the next 2 to 3 hours, passing very close to the island of Itbayat…expected to move out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on or before midnight tonight.

: TS SIONY (ATSANI) is forecast to move west-northwest at a decreased forward speed of 13 km/hr through tomorrow morning, and could regain Severe Tropical Storm (STS) status on or after passing the Bashi Channel today.
