Current Status and OutlookTropical Disturbance (LPA) 01W [AMANG] has moved somewhat northward and is just along the southeastern coast of Eastern Samar (just north of the Town of Guiuan).  The system's thick rainbands has been elongated and dislodged north of its center, just affecting Eastern Visayas and the eastern coastal areas of Bicol Peninsula. The combination of the LPA's rainbands and the enhanced Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring moderate to heavy to at times extreme rainfall along Eastern Visayas and the eastern coastal areas of Bicol Region. These rains may produce flooding and landslides along hazard-risk areas. Please take all necessary precautions.
