Current Status and Outlook | HAITANG (HUANING) has made its final landfall over Fujian Province, Southern China this morning. Rapid dissipation of this depression into a remnant LPA is expected through the next 12 to 24 hours. Its decaying rainbands will continue to dump rains, thunderstorms and gale-force winds across the Chinese provinces of Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei and parts of Zhejiang. *This will be the Final Update on this tropical cyclone. *The combination of TD HAITANG and the strong surge of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring occasional rains, gusty winds, and thunderstorms with large surfs across Taiwan. |
