Current Status and Outlook | The broad area of Low Pressure (96W) east of Bicol Region has intensified into a Tropical Depression, with PAGASA name "PEPITO". This weak system has been moving west-northwest with a forward speed of 31 km/hr, and has a broad rainbands which could cover Visayas and Luzon in 24-36 hours. Its forecast area of landfall will be somewhere along the east coast of Aurora and Isabela by tomorrow, Tuesday evening (Oct 20).
